Rycote Connbox Accessory As an optional extra Rycote is offering the Connbox. This can be fitted to the Modular Suspension to isolate and eradicate cable borne noise. The Connbox acts as a transition connector and anchor point for the microphone tail. Available in mono or stereo it has a flexible output cable that terminates in a 3 (or5) pin XLR at the pistol grip. The input cable is an ulta-thin pluggable tail fitted with wither a lemo connector (Scheops CCM) or an XLR socket that has a special locking ring to prevent rattle. The cable needs no special dressing or positioning just plug and go. Models available: CB1 Mono Connbox Standard, for up to short shotgun length. CB2 Mono Connbox Long, for long shotgun length. CB3 Stereo Connbox , for two mikes in an M/S array. CB4 Stereo Connbox Five pin, for single shank stereo mic. CB5 Mono Lemo Connbox, for (1)Schoeps CCM mic.
