With an internal straight cable a method is needed to allow the cable to flow into the pole while it is being extended and to flow out of the pole while it is being collapsed without binding. We call this device a "Flow Through Foot".K-Tek provides two models of flow through feet, the K-FT and the K-FTS. The K-FT: flow through foot has a slot four inches long to allow long cables to flow smoothly. It should be use with the K-Tek K-202 and K-251 and may be practical on a K-152 as well.The K-FTS: is a "Stubby" flow-through base having a slot only 1 3/4 inches long. This makes the unit much shorter over all but may allow a bit of binding with very long cables.
