Comtek is proud to introduce the new BST-216 synthesized base station transmitter. This is the most advanced, versatile, and highest fidelity IFB, cueing, and remote program monitoring transmitter available. Especially designed to meet the high demands of the broadcast, film production, and live entertainment industries, this new product represents 25 years of COMTEK know-how as a leader in wireless sound Here are just a few of the COMTEK advantages this product offers: The BST-216 base station transmitter can operate on 60 channels between 216 MHz and 217 MHz. Channels 1-40 are narrow band channels for use with the Phonak microEar receiver with 5 KHz deviation. Channels 41-60 are wide band channels for use with Comtek PR-216 receiver with 10 KHz deviation. The PR-216 will tune the Phonak microEar channels 1-40 but with lesser fidelity. Balanced mic or line level input with 60 dB of control range to accommodate any audio level or can also operate from intercom feed line. Bright, single-window, LED display for exact frequency and channel, VU meter, and special function indicators. Display can be turned off to conserve power when battery operated. Switchable EQ circuit for superb speech intelligibility or full range high fidelity for remote monitoring of mixer output. Audio processing system can operate companded (2:1 compression) or non-companded to accommodate a greater variety of remote antennas Operates off 115 volt AC or 12 volt DC power and can accommodate a variety of remote antennas Single-space rackmounting kit for one or two units for permanent installations applications.
